It's not every week we get to discuss a fan film, and certainly not one based on Streets of Rage. Joining KC this week are Fran Campos, creator and director, Danny Stokes, co-writer and creative consultant, and Adrian Vereda, actor who gives life to Axel in the upcoming "RAGE: Unleashed". They're all massive Streets of Rage fans and share the origins and importance of both this project and the original short film that came before it.

Director/Actor/Writer/Producer
I'm a filmmaker, actor and producer from Malaga, Spain. My career start in my childhood, at 10 years old, as an actor, working in commercials (1&1, Once..) , TV shows (El Internado, Snatch...) , theatre (Peter Pan, The Seagull...) and small roles in movies (Danao's Daughters).
I started to direct my own projects, with a small microshort film called "P.K" which was selected in Notodofilmfest Spain, and then I introduced my career in fanfilms, like "Misfitsized" and "Misfitsized Track 2" based on the cult classic cartoons "Jem and The Holograms" and those projects brought us the opportunity to be in Jem Con Usa, multiple international awards such as Best Actress in Vesuvius Film Festival, or Best International shortfilm in Tokyo Indie Fest. After that saga, I directed "IVY", a fanfilm based on DC Comics' character Poison Ivy, which also earned multiple awards and nominations. I also directed the music video for our original theme "My Garden" , written, composed and sung by Carmen Robles. Next work was the first "RAGE" based on Streets of Rage and that brought us a lot of joy and honors, such as five awards at Golden Lion Film Festival (Best Short / Best Music / Best Director / Best Editor / Best Script) and nominations as Best Fanfilm in FanFilm Awards USA. I also became the first Spanish director to have a shortfilm mentioned in Rolling Stone USA in 2019 (For Misfitsized ) and to have two projects nominated at the same time in FanFilm Awards USA in 2023 (RAGE and IVY).
